i just put a turbo kit in my b20 and at low rpm (2000-3000), smoke comes out of the muffler like crazy. When i checked wat was wrong i saw the source of the smoke came from the space between the turbine and exhaust manifold. And it smells like something is burning. But when i run it at higher rpm (5000-6000) theres still smoke coming out but not as noticable as when in lower rpm. its also very unusually hot compared to my brothers sr20det engine.

 

come on somebody help me. I dont want my motor and turbo to mess up

 

You're getting smoke from the flange?

Is it a used turbo? What sized restrictor? Is it oil, gas, water?

 

its a used turbo and its a t3t4 thats all i know. i think its a crappy ebay turbo too
