re use piston rings??

wasnt sure where to put this got some spare b16 pistons on ls rods wanna throw in a lsvtec one rod snapped after were installed on origanal lsvtec, only about 30-40 miles were put on piston rings any one think these are still good?

i reccomend new rings... for less issues in the future... pay 200 for new rings...

just be sure to use the same rings in the same bore, and try to keep the ring (gap) orientation the same.

Well if the rings were installed correctly in the original LS-VTEC (which im sure they were not), and they were gapped in acordance to the block being used, then they are gapped for that block and if you put them in another block it will cause excesive smoking and significant loss of compression, make sure u gap you rings per block they are installed in and they are as stated above 1 time use only, thats almost as bad as re-using bearings! ! !
