Listen man, if you have the money go for the type r b18 if not a gsr b18 engine will be good for your application. Just remember the saying"No replacement for displacement"

I'm not being a dick but there's alot of threads on this topic. They're all filled with good info on b16 vs b18 stuff. I'd check those out. But personally I'd go with the b18c. I know people that wish they had gotten the b18 instead of the b16, but I've never heard it vice versa.

b16b is over priced for something not all that great. go with the b18c

b16b = 3850 for 185 hp
b18c 96-00 type r = 4550 for 200 hp

Another 700 dollars for 15 extra hp and 17 ft lbs. I think I'd rather get the b16b, and use the extra 700 I save (not including S&H) for a few bolt ons here and there.

I have a b16a and really like it. Never heard of a b16b. If you can get an ITR for 3500 tell me where. I have almost that much invested in B16a with lsd after shipping and incidentals.

Are you talking about the whole swap? I paid 4,500 shipped for mine so I would like to know where you got yours at.
