Hi I have an aftermarket immobiliser on my car which has an open circuit.

I know the immobiliser is connected to my starter.

Now my car wont start, it cranks and i get a clicking sound but no spark, so I'm wondering if my immobiliser would allow cranking but no spark.

Maybe a stupid Q but any help ?

 

You need to look and see which circuit they interrupted when they installed the immobilizer. If they cut your ignition wire, the starter will still crank.

Let me ask you this, when you turn on the ign. and/or try and start the car, do the cluster instruments, [gauges and warning lights] come on, can you hear the fuel pump relay "click" on and the fuel pump run for a sec. or two, [priming the fuel line] when you turn on the ign.?
