Default Getting a new engine..i need your input

I'll be getting a new engine for my car in about 2 months..a month and a half..and i was wondering whats yalls input on that?

have to be around 2k-2.5k

i was thinking a k20a2 or the a3 im not sure


FEEL FREE to let me know!!!!! i need some others opinion on the matter, thanks

dont get A3, no point... but you wont get a decent A2 with that kind of budget, i'll tell you that... see if you can find any TSX motors... K24A2 or something...

besides the whole engine your gonna need

hasport mounts
tsx ecu
tsx axles
K series subframe
shiftlinkage
plus other stuff i cant think of now

I agree with the K24 suggestion. They seem like they would fit your budget although I am not sure how much other stuff besides the swap you will have to buy.

Why not put your car back to stock and trade it in with that 2K for an 02-03 RSX or something?

Seems like a waste to swap a motor in a relatively new 04 Civic. I assume you are still making monthly payments? Plus, the car is still under warranty.
