Default how do I reset the check engine light?

I drive a 00 honda civic hx, and recently had an intake installed, but now the check engine light won't turn off. the fuse/accessory on mode for 15 sec didnt work so im assuming it works only in older models. How do I reset this?

i'd check your O2 sensor on the intake, its most likely causing the CEL.

you could also check what code it is throwing to get an exact answer... search on there, there are tons of writeups on how to do it.

Ok, turn the key on, set your odometer to trip, turn key back off, hold selector button in and turn key back on, hold till light flashes and goes out, if it doesn't then you have an active fault.
