Default is boost controll necessary

ive decided that i am goin to wait til i get the money and turbo my car rather than do a ls/vtec swap...im still shoping for wat turbo to get but i can find all that by myself....i know i will need a new ecu adn fuel injectors and all the basic mechanical stuff to go with it but do i need to have a boost controller at first...i will add one later but im hopin it can run without it for a little while...is that going to work or do i need to install the boost controller with the turbo??? and from wat ive read...the stock ls interanls would lsat under 8-10 psi right????or do i need it to stay at 7-8..thx

everyone on here is going to say 8-10 psi is differnt on every turbo which is true. it depends on what turbo you are running. i would suggest on doing a search for more info on what you want to do.

u don't need a boost controller. u can control it from going over a certain psi by the wastegate spring.
