Bottoming out illumina struts???? Need help
I have my drop set at about a 2 finger gap all around and the struts bottom out on every little bump, just in the front? Was the install done incorrectly or is the strut just not meant to be dropped very low?
i ahve the lluminas strust on my 99 lude with neuspeed race springs,. i havent had any probs. is your strust set on 1 or 5 or whats the dail set on? the struts might be blown or not properly installed
How big is the finger gap with your race springs up front? I have the dial set to 4. the struts work great if they are on flat pavement.

Yea. You have to cut the bumpstop shorter, otherwise you limit the travel distant of the rod and you hit the bumpstop sooner than you should.

i think he is confused.. if u did hit your bump stops you wouldn't here the bump stop hiting, you'd more then likely hear your upper control arms hit the frame/body, especially if you have a camber kit installed.
