XM or Sirius satellite radio installs.
Wanting to see where and how everyone has mounted their satellite radio receivers in their cars. Im trying to get a good idea how to mount mine in my integra but pics of other cars would help too.
Here's mine in my Pathfinder. I spliced the power wire direct to a fused source (lighter lead) that way I don't have the ugly wire straggling around to the cig lighter. No holes drilled and I hid all the wires for a tidy appearance.

Mine is just sitting on top of the cup holder where my ashtray would be. Just trying to get some ideas on how else to mount it.

im an installer and the cleanest way to install xm or sirius in your is with a dedicated tuner on an aftermarket deck, theres no ugly box to mount and its better sound because its not transmitted over an fm station. the only reason i would get a standalone unit is if i was swapping it between two cars and home.
I use an Alpine 9856 Head Unit along with the XM Direct receiver for Alpine Head Units, as well as the XM tuner. Doesn't get any cleaner than that.
