Default I need help hiding some wire, from my 12v outlet up to my sun visor - Valentine 1

Okay so I just got a Valentine 1, and I absolutely hate the windshield mount.

So I just bought a visor mount which allows you to mount the V1 on the sun visor. The only problem is, I don't want to run a long *** wire from the 12v adapter all the way up to my sun visor.

So my question is, where's a good spot to run a straight cord from the adapter, all the way up to the passenger side visor? I know you have to go up through the pillar, but I don't know where to run the wire before the pillar. Also once it's up in the pillar, can I just run it along that little crevice between the windshield and the head liner? What can I use to hold the wire in place?

Thanks, all help appreciated.

run it beneath the dash up to the pillar to the head liner.

or you could run the power from your map light on the roof of the car, would require you to take down the headliner to do it properly, but would be the simplest route.

your gonna need to hardwire it in, just tap it in behind ur cigarette lighter.

run the wires in the headliner between the windshield and the headliner then down the pillar. if you tuck it in good enought it should stay with using anything to hold it in place.

and if you need to, when your routing thru the dash, use zipties to hold the wire in place

I didn't really want to hard wire it because I sometimes switch between 2 cars, so I want it to be easy to take off, but have a clean look at the same time. In my car (00 Si) I want to do this visor mount with the hidden wires, but then I can also use the windshield mount and the coiled cord when I drive my dads Accord.

ok so. get another coiled cord to use in your dads accord.

if you want the wire hidden it NEEDs to be hard wired otherwise it will look like a 6 year old installed it. lol.

so just use a straight cord from the V1 hardwired behind yourdash then when switchin cars. un plug the cord from the V1 and use the coil cord with the accord.

OR you could just freakin stop speeding! lol.

maybe not drive fast while driving the accord? theres an idea!
