Car wont start in the Morning when its cold. NEED HELP!!!!
I just had my 2000 Honda Accord Ex Manual 2dr coupe for about two months now. Recently it hasnt been starting in the morning when its cold. It seems like as if there isnt any power at all going to the car when its cold. Ive tried taking off the battery terminals and even replacing as i thought they were corroded. The problem still persists, but i notice that when the weather gets warm around 11 o'clock in the afternoon then the power comes back on. I dont even have a clue of where to start. If its the battery then the car shouldnt start at all. I replaced the terminals and it still doesnt start in the morning when im trying to go to work but the power comes back on in the afternoon. If any of you have any suggestions it would really help to see where i should start . Thank You.
cold in cali... ? check battery voltage in the morning. low temps reduce cranking amperage and voltage.
if the temp difference in pamona... lol... is 20 to 30 degrees during the day u might need a new battery.

ya i didnt know it got cold in cali, last time i checked it was in the high 70's.. how early in the mourning u talkin?
but anyways, ya each battery has a cold and heat cranking amps.. if your cold cranking isnt high enough your car will not obviously start as your stating..

if the battery isn't new, replace it. make sure the terminals are clean or try replacing the cable if it is corroded.
Thanks a lot for all the replies. will go and replace battery now... and its not that cold in cali... probably lowest is like 60 in the morning but cold enough for my damn car not to start. thanks alot fellas appreciate it

Hey guys i had everything replaced and had the mechanic run a test on it and nothing came up.... but he told me he noticed that when he touches the fuse box the car come back on even when it was cold...... any suggestions on why this would happen?

Have him check the large 50 amp master fuse marked "Ignition Switch", the equally large 80 amp "Battery" master fuse and their Fuse Box contacts. It shouldn't be doing that.
