Cold Start Problem
it's been so cold my lude needed a jump start to get it going. i notice the first time it died, it still had power...everything worked.
yesterday i went to start it and realized that there was no power at all. so i jump started it and it started.
today i go to start it again and same thing. the battery is 3 years old. should i go get a battery with better cold crank starting? or is it normal because of the frigid weather?
p.s. i did a search and no one had the same problem so i created this topic.

sounds like you just have a bad battery in general... cause you are having to jump it, and then the car is running off the power from the alternator cause the battery probably isnt holding a charge.
yeah i think it's because it ain't a daily driver. i haven't drove it since winter started. that probably why the batt. ain't holding the charge. i was wondering if it was normal, if not i'll get a better cranking battery this summer.
