Default is there anyone out there using PWR or any other liquid to air IC for street?

i was just wondering if anyone out there is still using theirs for street use and is doing fine with no problems? i've searched and everyone says not to go with it. just wanted to see if anyone out there is running it and get their first hand opinion on it. and how long they've been running it...also i would like ot know what other components they have added to it. and a picture of their setup? thanks..much appreciated.

me and a few of my friends swear by a/w....mostly due to our sleeper cars...

two setups ive personally dealt w/ and seen:

ls/vtec w/ hx35
15psi
mine:
-jabsco water puppy pump
-custom a/w intercooler w/ denso core...straight shoot thru transitioning end takes w/ 2.5" in/outlets
-old motorcycle radiator mounted in front air dam of DC2
started w/ a 1gal fuel cell in the front old air box compartment...once the car got hot it stayed hot...iat's on a 70-80degree day would be well into the 120's....but if it stayed cold it would be nice and chilly and rip all day....engine heatsoak was the main killer of the setup esp not moving...

so late in the season i switched to a remote mount cooler resiovior in my trunk held in by a custom trunk brace/resivior holder....holds about 4 gal...and an extra 2 in the system of pipes...i love dumping in 2 bags of ice and running around on 90 degree days and see iat's around 70-80 depending on how hard its boosting...and i have some copper lines in the system that i can feel from the drivers seat...lines stay cold even under hard boosting for a good hr or so...

only changes im making to the system..
-adding cold air intake onto turbo to bring in fresh cool air instead of air from bottom of ramhorn mani...sometimes near open dp exh
-tucking a/w intercooler core in corner where abs used to be and redoing my endtanks to accomodate this...then building a lil housing around the a/w core to possibly pack w/ dry ice....still workin on a material to use to form to the chassis that isnt going to crack under extreme cold temps....

these two lil things should help the car even on a dd basis stay much colder...and get a more efficent charge to the motor

second setup
f22/h22 setup
sc44 turbo
spearco 2-231 core....real deal thing is beefy 3" in/outlets
mezeiri water pump
washer fluid tank as resivior...
tranny cooler as a heat exchanger...

like my setup it stays very cold and powerful...but once the heatsoak of the engine warms up the core...its hard to stay cool...so we both air isolating our cores...and doing some redesign to help underhood temps

for DD....not much

for 30min beat sessions adding ice...diff of about 20 degrees ambient...makes a big difference when it gets really hot out...

mostly i use it to be sleeper...not heat charateristics
