Default Budjet for boosting H22A

Hi.

Can anyone give estimation on a budjet needet to boost Prelude4's H22A2?
If I expect to get about 230-240 hp, and wish to use smallest turbine possible (T25?), to get boost from the lowest RPM.
I have 185 hp H22A2, euro version.

Is it generally correct (that smaller turbine begins to work sooner when you press throttle, and that T25's output can be near 240 hp)?

And finally, what is the minimum budjet for _safe_ boosting H22A2, using as much stock parts as possible?

T25 seems to be too small. T3 is better for you.

You can choose:
Mahle pistons
Eagle rods
DSM injectors
turbine itself
turbo manifold and modify the exhaust.
You'll need also some electronics to control the fuel.
Of course if you want it safe. Anyway you can achieve your goal on the stock internals with no problem. Just good tuning...

Why T25 is too small? Can you please explain it in more detail?
What cannot be achieved on T25 ? And does it have any pros compared to T3 ?

Can I use some turbo-kit only and hondata c200 to control fuel? What kind of modifications to the engine is required, and which are not absolutely nesessary?

you will choke the engine in the hi rev range with T25 I think...

you can use turbo kit and hondata alone. Just tune it well. If your engine is in a good condition there's nothing against to turbo it.

Do you mean the turbine will not provide enouth pressure on hi rpm? And if I wish to boost mainly lov rpm range?
What is the latency for T25 and T3?

And what are approximate project costs?

T3's are not efficient enough for a prelude engine. They will start to blow hot air after around 7psi or 220ish whp. Go for a t3/t04e turbo.

If you want to do it right, plan on spending anywhere from $3,000-$4,000
