Default need help !@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

k i wsa driving doing 30mph and then all of a sudden the car died. it caranks and the lights work but it wont start. it's on a stock 93 integra ls.

never mind. i found whats wrong. the timing belt snapen.

the intake side

the exhaust side

are they both supose to be a tdc. or just one. how do i put them to tdc. my timing belt snapped.

Run a compression test or pull the head to check for any bent valves.

your timing is off. Redo your timing. The two cams gear are suppose to be the same direction.

how do i check the compression if the belt snapped. do i set both the gears at tdc. or ? how do i do it. or would it be safer just pulling the head off and checking that way

If you want to proceed with the compression test, you have to properly install the timing belt back before. I would suggest you do that, then if you have compression problem b/c of a bent valve, you can then pull the head. Many times, a snap timing belt does not mean a bent valve...so keep you hopes up. check for bent valves put cam gears in up position replace timing belt and then check compression.
