Default Radio & clock not working??

Just like the title says my cd player and clock quit working . I temporarily rigged a wire to the battery to power my cd player (can't go with out that) but I would like to fix it right. Any ideas on what to check?

P.S. the first thing i checked was the fuse and it looked fine but I changed it anyway to be sure.

If its not the fuse, have you done any work with wires in the car lately?

No. That is the weird thing, one day it just quit working. Also my cigarette lighter is not working either (which shares the same fuse as the radio). Any suggestions?

you have a blown fuse. engine bay fuse box(by the battery). CHECK the 7.5A backup fuse.

check the 7.5 amp blade fuse in the back of the under hood fuse block. It is the second one to the right starting from the far left.
