Some people I know that do autocross use that brand. From what I hear, you don't need an oil cooler on a daily driver.

There is an oil to water cooler that's mounted on the side of the block where the oil filter is located (the oil filter is actually screwed into the cooler). There is no need to get a cooler unless you are autocrossing or are an all out race car. On the street, oil in an H22A with the stock cooler will rarely get above 200F. Put on an oil temp gauge. You will be surprised at the temperature when you are hard on the car. If you do decide to put an oil cooler on, you need to have an oil temp gauge anyhow. Oil that gets cold will promote sludge build-up and cause the oil pressure to drop in the cooler.

I agree If you're running a good synthetic, even if you autocross, you should be fine. Just run a slightly thicker wt on track days.

thats true. but once u start to get in hight reving of the motor..high going to build up. im not trying to have that. plus im running nitrous. im trying to kepp temp down on this.
