Default Gauge Cluster .......?

Ok the owner previous to me had glow gauges in his car. Anyway they dont function correctly. I found a cluster for a prelude sh, but where do I do to adjust the milage on the odometer ?

No im sayn about buying a new one changing that new one to the correct milage. Because the guy cut out the gauges that were in there before so its not a matter of just sliding the glow gauges out.

yea, take the odometer from the orig car, and swap it into the speedo housing on the new gauge.

is there ANY way to do that legally? for example, what would happen if your odometer broke and you took it to a dealership, what would they do about it? or could you take it to the DMV and have them inspect what it says before and after you install the new one? sorry, I've wondered about this before, lol...

I would just take it to the dealer and have them install it, that way, later down the road, if any problems arise, you have all the documentation...

to roll your odometer back you have to take apart the assembly, once you get the back off of the cluster there should be some small gears for the odometer. roll it back to the desired mileage. Just be careful when doing this. Its fairly simple and if you have common sense you can get it done. I wouldnt do it if you plan on selling the vehicle in the future.
