ek suspension on eg

Default ek suspension on eg

hey had a question was wondering will ek shocks fit on an eg? will the springs fit too? springs for civics is 88-00 correct?

ek shocks will fit in the front but in the rear you have to shave the bushings i think down

Fronts fit. Springs fit. Rears will fit with grinding of the LCA.

you grind the bushing that the lower end of the shock bolts to. It is probably faster if you just cut it.

you will have to do grind or cut the bushing with it in the control arm unless you have a press. You will not be able to bend the lower shock mounting point enough to make it fit properly.

no, the lca's are different sizes
You could use an ek bushing, I think...but thats more work than Id want to do

Getting it pressed in is more work than cutting/grinding the existing bushing. I don't know for sure if you can press in an ek bushing into an eg arm.
