Suspension Question???
Hi, couldn't find an answer anywhere so here goes...
I own a Civic EK 4 door & a Civic EG 4 door...
I'm looking at buying a set of Weitec Shocks & Springs that fits EK Civics BUT
i want to fit them on my EG...
Correct me if i'm wrong but all i need to do is to take the rear control arms & shocks from my EG,
fit them to my EK,
then take the EK control arm coupled to the Weitec shocks & springs and fit that to the EG?
Sorted?

Re: Suspension Question??? (Spatial Bleu)
not quite sorted
the rear lower control arms are not compatible, they are not the same size. the ek lca is longer by about 1" or so.
if you are dead set on using this setup on the eg, in order to get the shocks to fit the rear lca (the ek lower mount is narrower) you will have to grind down the bushing in the lca so that the shock can fit over it.
this works fine until you decide you want another setup that happens to be for an eg. then you will have to replace the lca/shock bushing or (probably cheaper and easier) replace the lca with a new one.
