3rd Gen Integras
I just need a car to get me around, something good on gas, it'll be my first car so i dont need anything luxurious or fast so with that said i know im not going to get the GS-R, still debating between automatic or stick (never drove stick before but im a fast learner) ... and i want to know which year would be the best? i lookin to spend $3000-$5000
GS & LS have the same engine B18B, but different luxury options.
GS= Grand Sport(i believe)
LS= Luxury Sport
Even so, they're both the same thing. A bunch of different combitions. Some have leather, some don't.. ect.
98-02 = Nicer body style (IMO)
94-97
Stick is easy as pie, but if you live in an area with alot of traffic, it might not be worth it.

yeah the guys at hhu told me i would regret it if i got automatic too, i want stick cuz its cheaper and if anything messes up its cheaper to fix, better gas mileage, more torque and its just better, and if i ever decide to get into racing... well u cant race in an automatic, its just not the same so hopefully ill learn to drive it soon so i wont make a mistake and get automatic... thanks guys
i got a few more questions... is gettin ur car from one of those repossessed auction sites good?
and how do i become better than TRIAL status?

But the sounds of things I'm taking it you're still young and learning. Get an LS. GSR insurance is going to rape you, and being young and in the eyes of the insurance companies.."more vulnerable" they'll rape you even more. + with rising gas prices can you always afford to pay extra at the pump for the GSR's premium needs.
Don't get me wrong, the GSR is a lovely and wicked car. But this is your first, go LS. In the mean time you can learn to drive stick, and learn about your car, what it's capable of and the almost endless things you can do with it. After that you can invest in the GSR swap or turbo her or w/e. The LS is a sure winner since it'll be more friendly on your wallet.
Take a look a look at some threads too, or at pictures. Look at the 94-97 body styles and the 98-01 body styles. What appeals to you more, most people like the 98-01 because of the more aggressive look the front bumper packs + all those other little things such as a flare here and there. Also 4 dr or 2 dr. I love the look of a 2 door because the tail lights are 1 piece, just sportier....what do you prefer? Then what color exterior? What color interior? Black/Green tegs mostly have tan interior. While white/red/silver come in black interior.
So think...which class integra, what body style, color, then 2 or 4 dr? Good luck with the decision.

Thanks for all the opinions and feedback guys... i want a coupe, i cant stand sedans... and yea ill look at the 94-97 and the 98-01 bodies... i always thought they were the same, and one of my friends said "the 96 is a classic" but maybe she was just joking i dont know, but the 96 should be the same as the 94 right?
and i want a white or black exterior, interior doesnt matter as long as its not ugly, so the LS comes with leather seats?
and i already went over the 5 post limit for today, how long will this last?

My vote is go for the GS-R the first time. Your gonna get your Ls and your gonna fall in love with the integra, we all did!
After having it for a while, falling in love with it and wanting the most you can get out of it, naturally, your gonna want vtec, we all do...
Which leaves you with two options with an LS, LS/Vtec or GSR swap.. Both going to cost you a pretty penny. I say do it right the first time, save yourself some money in the long run and hold out for a good deal on a GSR, and just take it easy untill you learn the how to drive a stick, and the limits of you car. You won't be dissapointed.
