Well guys I wanna rebuild a LS motors. I found a 94 LS motor for $400 without trany, but I'm still thinking about it. I don't know what year should I get. I just wanna now if theres a good or best year to get a LS from?

94-01 are all the same.
and even the 92-93's are rated at the same power.

i'd say go with anything from 92+.

i thought that b18b was better then b18a

i would go with anything newer then your car. I also thought b18b and b18a were a little different.

b18a's have weaker cranks.

b18a and b18b's shortblock are the same, the head is a little different though.
