upgraded rod bolts is what alot of people recommend. Check out ARP for that.

All depends on how high you want to rev. If you are planning on going to 9500 like everyone these days wants to then yes. I would assume that the stock stuff would be good to 7800, as the LS stuff isn't designed to go higher. Everyone then goes and gets either b16, GSR or type R stuff to fulfill their requirements.

I guess he means bone stock b18a/b block and bone stock dohc vtec head..Ive seen around 150-160hp with chipped ecu's and bolt-ons..and around 120-130 tq assuming the motor is in good condition..

But I recommend getting atleast arp rod bolts and a vtec oil pump.

That hardly quailfies as stock and being we can't be sure if its a gen 1 b16 head or a CTR head and the many other vairbles in a "stock" lsvtec.

150-160 yea on a b16 head b18 block bare bones setup.

I just find it silly to call it stock unless you can give a part # for an lsvtec it's not stock in my eyes.

I wasn't trying to be a dick, I just don't see it as a stock motor whatso ever even made with honda parts.

190hp is a great # out of all stock I hope mine will put out like that
