what will actually cross over from a vtec shortblock into the non vtec block that will actually help it out? I know for sure the oil pump fits, but what about the water pump, block girdle, pump pickup, baffle, yadda yadda...

 

the water pump is interchangeable, the GSR pump has more teeth on it then the LS one so it actually spins less. block girdle is not interchangeable and I dont see any advantage to the pickup and baffle but I could be wrong. pistons, crank, and rods are all interchangeble. rods and crank have to stay together but the pistons can be used on LS rods no problem. the dipstick is probably interchangeable as well.

pretty much everyting is interchangeable except the girlde. The oil squirters can be machined into a ls block. if you want the girdle contact z10eng. they have them The water pump and the oil pump are good to swap out to the ls. Especially if you are doing a Ls .vtec swap
