speed sensor? are b and d series tranny the same?
after the b16 swap it worked fine and soon enough i started having plroblems.... i tried a few things even replacing the speedometer, the speedomerter cable and double checking that the cable is well conected to the tranny i still can get my speedometer to work,.. im almost 100% sure its not electrical . so what are the chances on the speed sensor going out??? ..... if it happened to be bad, can i use one fom a D series tranny?
Your speedo is mechanical, not 100% electrical... like the newer hondas.
How do you describe your problem?
Possibly your gear on the speedo is stripeed, or the cable is not insterted all the way, aside from that I'd guess you forgot to replace teh c-clip which keeps the cable from backing out.

The speedometer is mechanical but there is also an electrical
portain to it..
The ECU determines vehicle speed via electrical pulses
through the speed sensor located inside the speedometer:

Pull the cable out of the housing and make sure it is still in one piece.

the cable that goes from the back of the speedometer has been replaced twice and also the clip is on place,..... that striped gear theory sounds like is gonna be the issue.... i think im just gonna have to take it out and go from there.. now once is out if its strped then can i use a D series one? or does is have to be from a b series tranny?

I think that was the answer for question. And it was a fifth or sixth post.

Something I wrote recently in another Post. You may know most of this already, but it might help solve your problem.
It's kinda tricky if you don't know what you are doing. You have to pull back the outer shielding until you have exposed the cable and it's metal housing (looks sorta like a big pen in a way). With the shielding pulled back slide the the tip of the cable back into the "PEN" and slide the cable into the VSS in the transmission. Now pull the shielding back over the "PEN" and you should be set, once again provided therein lies the problem and there is nothing wrong with the cable and that it is plugged into the back of the Cluster in the interior of the vehicle.
Here's a picture of the VSS plugged in the transmission:
