Default Turbo S2000

I just turbo charged my S2000. And I need an oil change. I plan on getting the ROYAL PURPLE, bubt I dont know what SAE #?

5w30 would work too, I get quieter starts in the winter with it.

I'd go with 5w-30 in the winter. It is easier on the whole system. 10w-30 in the summer.

royal purple is the sh** i work for a auto place and seen testing in person..mobil, pennzoil, castrol, valvoline, royal purple. royal purple out performed them big time
mobil is good to but not as good. pennzoil sucks ba***
plus i get that royal purple for wholesale price

I have always been told to run no lower than 10w-30 with a turbo, because the thinner oil is harder on the turbo seals.

Wait. So for winter, i use 5w-30 and for summer i use 10w-30 or 5w-30 for summer also?

WOW, some of you guys need to learn what the "5", "10", the - and the other #s mean. The bigger the # the thicker the oil. The first # is how thick the oil is at room temp, you want the oil to beable to flow easy at start up. The 2nd # is how thick the oil is when your motor is at its norm temp. So, 0-20 is like cooking oil and 10-50 is much more heavy. Also you kinda want to oil to be thick when your motor is at temp because the oil stays on the parts better

use synthetic 10-30
