Default B16A w/mods VS LS/Vtec

I have a 96 coupe with a B16A swap and minor bolt ons... I/H/E, IM, FR, FPR and a friend of mine is selling an LS/vtec cheap... I plan to run nitrous on my car, I already have it ready to spray a 50-shot wet...

Should I keep the B16 or go with the LS/vtec.... For street and drag racing

ls/vtec if it was properly built etc etc. cuz if it wasnt then it is useless. why is he selling it. ls/v has more torque and hp than your motor you have

Yeah man, if that ls/v is built right and he is selling it for cheap go for it. First find out who built it and see if it has the right parts to last. IF someone just threw a vtec head on a stock 150K mile b18a, i'd personally keep the b16.

i'm not sure who built it, he said he might drop into a teggy to see what it can do.... after i see what times it runs, then i'll make my decision
