Nissan 280ZX rev problem HELP
here the problem i washed the car with no hood and sprayed engine down and i started it fine but it wont rev past 2000 rpm at all i tryed down shifting in to say first from second and rpm goes up to 4k they like fuel cuts out and drops back to 2k no clue what it is any help with be usefull btw its a 1981 fuel injected non turbo

I don't know about yours but with mine (it's blue 
) The early fuel injection was kind of a pain. Luckly I know a guy that was working on Volvo's when they first came out with EFI and he's very good at it. I don't know how good of shape yours is in but have you checked the obvious stuff? Things liek the fuel filter? What's the mixture like on idle? (smell the exhust fumes)
