Default Gauges not working (fuel, temp, and speedo)

basically the only thing that is working in my gauge cluster is my tach... I am throwing codes 6, 9, 10, 17. i know what they all are, and replaced them with known working parts and they still arn't working.
Also runs like crap, backfiring, and cold start is the absolute worst, cranks for like 15 seconds then starts.
Any ideas??

What are those codes again?

Dont go replacing parts......diagnose them first.

I know that sometimes the back of the needle hangs up on the glow gauges because it messes up the spacing between the needle and the stock guages (that extra 1/64th of an inch matters ), but I doubt it would cause three gauges to stop working, and am sure it wouldn't cause you to be throwing all of those codes...

Dunno man, but am interested and waiting for someone to answer this question...

:UPDATE:
Upon removing the indiglo gauges, i noticed that the coolant needle came with. Yep it was superglued to it.... no needle going into the reciever?? (dunno what its called) so i am guessing the rest of the cluster is toast considering the previous owner took so much care in installing these gauges... I am now drivin without a cluster.. i noticed that my speedo cable still works cause its spining up where it connects to the back of the cluster... so i am in search of a new cluster
