had my roommate pull the codes from my ECU today, he only has a generic reader so it won't give info on what it is. I've got a 96 CX with a D16Y8 swap done. I asked last year when I got my ECU and I was told it was a Manual but the last numbers on it weren't the normal A01 or whatever. here they are any help would be great.
P1509
P0141
P0700
P1758
P1706
P1768
P0453
I was expecting a CEL for the second O2 sensor as somebody cut the wire of the harness or something cause I can't find it. Gonna tear the harness off this weekend and find the wires. And since my CX didn't have the wiring for whatever is ontop of the charcoal canister for the EVAP and maybe a code for the power steering sensor as I don't have power steering.

ok he just called me somebody at his work got the info for him. Looks like most of these are for an automatic trans. How do you tell what serial numbers are for automatics and for manuals?
Hey so where you able to find out more about which codes are for auto to manual thing you mention or anything else about ur codes were you able to do something to fix those codes ?
Any powertrain codes with a second digit of ‘7’ (i.e. P0700) are trans related.
In the last three digits of the ecu part number, if the second digit denotes trans type. ‘0’ for manual, ‘5’ for auto (i.e. -A02, -A51 respectively).
if it is throwing Px7xx codes, it is an automatic ecu. You cannot make an obd2 auto ecu work on a manual car. You need a manual ecu.
