Who has a Civic VX with an OBDII engine and ECU?
I got an OBDII GSR swap in my 92 civic VX. I need some help wiring up the O2s. I wired up the ECU already. The car runs fine but I got CEL. The O2s are mess up. I think I might wire up the O2s wrong. For the primary, Do I need to add any wire to the ECU? I don't think so at least. For the Seconary, do I wire the O2 directly to the ECU or some where on the harness? I wire it directly to the ECU, don't know if that is okay. Does the two O2s link to each other? what did you all do with the EGR valve that is located on the top center of the firewall. will it give a code if unplug? Thanks .

Did you check your CEL to see what it is? I did the same swap about 3 years ago but on my CX. It has been a while I can't recall anything from that swap but I still have all wiring diagram at home.

Re: Who has a Civic VX with an OBDII engine and ECU? (CivicNewbie)
After I wire up the car, the first day was okay with no CEL. I got the CEL after two runs at track on that same day. after I reset the ECU it went away first, now, it is there always. CEL CODE gave me 41(primary) and 65(secondary), which are both heater circuits in the O2s. I don't know if the O2 are supose to be linked or what.
Let me know if this helps you remember anything.
