When I run my JDM B16 to 7-8k it starts to smoke how I have been told by a few people that they smoke a little bit at high rpms. How much smoke is normal?

 

it depends on the motor how many miles and it pretty normal

No it's not "pretty normal" at all.
No one expects a spectrum of smoke at high rpms. It may be minor, but it varies on what color like the previous poster said:

White = H20 as in coolant is being burned.
Black = Gasoline.

no amount of smoke is good. find out what color it is and take it from there. until then dont take it up that high.

 

although white smoke (actually water vapors) is normal before the engine gets to engine temp...But yea like its been said, should be no smoke.
