im going to be spending a lot of money on a twin disk clutch soon and a lot of people say it will be the last clutch ill ever buy...

has anyone ever broken one or had one go bad? I've narrowed it down to an Exedy or Tilton clutch.

 

Subscribing cuz I will hopefully be in the market for a twin and would like to get an answer on this question.

i got a exedy twin got 14,000 miles on it 130 plus dyno pulls and id say 50-60 passes at the track and hasnt broke yet my discs need to be replaced starting to slip a tad bit but no biggie.

to exedy for making a clutch i cant seem to break

i broke 4 sprung 6 pucks in 3 months before i bought the exedy and havent looked back

 

how much is the replacement?

 

I remember Jordo had trouble with a Twin disk Tilton. But he also can break anything

the replacements are $235x2 its not that bad considering how much life and abuse you get out of them

 

does anyone has a price on competition clutch replacement disks?

what would happen if u fulled out stall on these twin disk?

 

my tilton has had numerous revlimiter drops with 24.5's at the strip and never had any problems with it. i also drive it on the street 3 or 4 days out of the week. ive had it for about 7 months now. i also have the tilton flywheel.

Hows the pedal pressure? is my clutch leg going to end up twice as big as my other leg?

 

well i just drove mine for the first time a few days ago and pedal pressure is slightly lighter than my ACT 6pk/XTPP.
