i bought an 96 civic ex, but it was salvaged, but runs okay, wonderin wat to do with it, engine has no vtec so its pretty slow rite now, got a cold air intake and greddy evo 2 cat back exhaust for now, ne suggestions on how to make this civic faster >

 

swap that bitch or boost it. Only choices if you plan on pwning bitches D series suck unless u boost.

 

if its an EX it should have a d16y8 which is SOHC vtec. boost it

I would boost it...

 

If it is an EX and still has stock motor it should have vtec, not that having it will make it magically fast or anything on a SOHC.

If you want any decent amount of power I would swap or boost like people have said.

 

i checked my engine it is a d16y8 but i dotn see vtec ne where, i dont feel it either, and wat kind of boost is good, and price
