Washer and Bolt Camber trick Went back
the 2 holes where the bolts go, one of the wholes is pretty much Fuucked, the threads are so bad, that when i try to put the bolt in, it just eats up all the threads, and then there was a time where i couldn't get the bolt back out, it just spun, so now its just being held by one bolt, anyone know how to fix this? i refuse to drive my car and put my self in danger. i was thinking of using a tap, but not sure how to get the tap in there with everything in the way, TIA

Well this what I did when I had a stripped thread hole. I drilled out the hole and bought a coil spring (auto shops will have it), find the specs on the thread size and reinsert the coil spring back in with the supplied thread locker. I've done this on countless stripped holes that were rusted to hell or stripped due to past idiot technicans over torquing them.

there's nothing else! that's what you need to do, get a helicoil and tap into the hole.
