On my friend's '89 Legend, when you turn on the parking lights, the dash, taillights, front corners, etc. turn on perfectly. However, when the headlights are turned on, the parking lights turn off completely (tails, dash, front corners, etc.) and only the headlights remain on. The taillights turn on when you apply the brake and signals/hazards work perfectly in all situations.

When the parking lights are on, when you use the highbeam, the parking lights remain lit.

All fuses checked out ok. Relays ok. I'm thinking there my be a pinched wire somewhere..

Can the problem be at the **** switch on the steering wheel column? What do you guys think?

If we can't trace the problem, we might just disable the stock headlight wiring completely (remove fuses, remove relays) and just make our own wiring harness with power from the battery to a switch, with inline relays and fuses, and just make the headlights turn on that way-- so that you'd have to turn on the parking light via the stock switch and turn on the headlights via the custom switch.

Hope that's not confusing, lol. Any ideas?
