EG disc brakes on EK --- NEED INFO
I've tried searching for a how-to with pictures, but couldn't find a single one.
I have 1997 DX hatchback
and the brakes are from a
1992 civic LX w/abs
I would appreciate if you could post a link to a DIY that has detailed pictures.
I found some without pictures, but aside from the parts list, they weren't much help.
P.S.
I know that if I was using DA brakes, I would have to replace e-brake cables, but do I have to replace them when using EG brakes too?

I'm guessing you're doing a rear disc not front? Yes you need disc brake e-brake cables. Drums aren't the same I think
The pics are all down, but a long instruction

So from what I've read, it's not necessary to replace the master cylinder or the prop valve, right?
If I have the whole trailing arm assembly, all I need are a set of new brake lines and e-brake cable?

How to for 6gen civic

Since your gonna do a rear disc conversion check to see you your trailarm bush is still good or not. Replace the if so.

If the 92 LX had the front 10.3" brakes and rear discs, then its a upgrade, but I thought only the 94-95 Si/EX with ABS did.
The LX should have the same identical brakes to 96-00 DX civics.

its not necessary to replace the master cylinder, but you will need a 40/40 prop valve...you can get one from any 92-95 si or coupe with rear disk and also 90-01 integras as well as other cars..u also will need the ebrake cables from the same vehicles

It is not clear to me, but do all EG rear disc brakes fit on the EK?
I have a 2000 hatch, does anyone know if there is a list somewhere of all the models that I can swap disc brakes from onto my car?
Example, would either of these ebay auction for EG disc work?
