Default throwing coded 70... help

when i started up the car this morning, the check engine light came on... i believe it's code 70? automatic transmission problems. how do i fix?

edit: it's a 2000 accord Lx (4 cyclinder) sedan by the way.

I don't have anything for a code 70. Think I read somewhere that it's a jdm specific code. Do you have a jdm ecu?

if it is your auto trans, the [D] light should blink the code.


Google Honda ECU codes and that will give you many sources to look at.

that is exactly what it is... i've been googling and there's not fix for it?

I see a code here 70-3 "Shift solenoid valve A stuck OFF or ON". Hope it helps.

The best thing you can do is get the code read with a scan tool ..there are about 5-6 'P' codes that are listed under the flash code 70; most auto parts stores will read the code for free.
