Distributor Replacement
My distributor on my 92 Civic CX is making nosie. Took off the cover and found a red film caked inside the cover. From looking at other boards, looks like i am smoking a bearing in the housing. I am going to try to get a new distributor tommorow and put it in. How involved of a job am I looking at? ANy pointers or things to look out for?? Can I see the timing marks without removing the timing belt cover?? I will greatly appreciate any help. Looks like a good board here. Its going on my favorites. Thanks alot guys!!

Just go to autozone and get a new Dizzy (Lifetime Replacement) and rent a timing get and install the distributor a little loose and redo your timing to what it calls for in the manual

Exactly. Just make sure you get the ignition timing as it is now and you're golden.
