New Distributor >> Runs Like ****
I got a enw distributor and new coil today for my 93 coupe. It runs like **** now. When I accelerate it feels like the engine is hesitating till about 3k rpm.
Does anybody know what my problem could be, does it have anything to do with the distributor?

I had it done by my mechanic, he said that my timing belt was off by two or three teeth, which i will fix as soon as i have time. But it never ran this bad before.

Well it turned out that when my distributor broke it made the timing belt jump a tooth so the timing belt was off. I fixed it and now it runs better than ever, even better than before.

Yes, A friend of mine who works at an Acura dealer says it happens all the time. The worst case of a siezed dist. shaft snapped a timing belt.
They didn't realise it was the dis. that was siezed until after they replaced
the timing belt and the engine still wouldn't spin.
