ok im pretty sure it is the bearing does anyone have directions or input on how to take it out??
your gonna have to replace the distributor. the exact same thing happend to a guy i know. when the bearing goes out it locks up. one of his cams ended up jumping a tooth when it locked up. to when you replace it make sure you check your timing.
no you can't buy just the bearing. that i know of. if you buy the distributor with out the ignitor and all that stuff and swap it over i think it's just a little over $100.

well there is a 97 integra in the junkyard with a b1 in it cant i grab the dizzy off that??
no it won't fit, it's obd2. and i was wrong about being able to get the distributor with out the ignitor and all that, that's only for a 94-01 integra. your gonna have to buy the whole thing new or used.
no no no you can rebuild it. The same thing happening on my 90 integra, except that the bearing actually did seize up and my timing belt jumped a few teeth. You can just order any bearing that's rated for the proper rpm range and rebuild with that, this is what i did with mine and it was fine. PS, why did you make another post about this? I already answered your question in your other post.
yes i thought if you went to a place that sold bearings you might be able to replace it if they have the same exact one, but the dealer, and autozone or any of those places won't have a listing for it.
