HELP!!! Need Tranny Bolts: M12x1.25 Fine Grade 8 - Where to find these!? [Bay Area] HELP!!!
I'm trying to find a place where they sell Fine Grade 8 M12x1.25 Bolts that are about 3.5" long. Which is, I believe, .5" longer than stock tranny bolts. I need these to mount my engine onto an engine stand. The stock bolts are too short.
I've already checked Home Depot, and OSH (Orchards) and neither of them have any. Closest I got was M12x1.75 which is too thick in diameter... Anybody know any convenient hardware store that'll carry these?
Preferably around the San Francisco, Daly City, San Mateo, Palo Alto areas... If there's a guarunteed one across the bridge, then you can post it up as well... need ASAP!

By anychance do you have a autozone, kragen or pepboys engine stand? The one that comes with the hoist and is black? If so then just cut the end pieces a little. Thats what i did and never had a problem.

Hmm I have the Kragen Powerbuilt one that comes Red & Black... How would you go about cutting the pieces?
