What bolts to use for engine stand?
I am trying to put my b16 up on an engine stand but the bolts i have are too short and i cant find anywhere local that selles a longer one. The ones that hold the tranny onto the engine are 12mm with a 1.25 thread pitch and are about 2.5-3" long.
Anyone got any ideas?

just use bolts that are smaller and long enough to put a nut on the end.
There are plenty of holes int he block that aren't threaded.
The ones on the top of the block are for sure, so you will have to find some tranny bolts or engine mount bolts. Or goto a better hardware store with a better selection of metric bolts.
I know that YardBirds in Vallejo california have the long/large metric bolts for sure. But I used tranny bolts on top and motormount bolts with nuts on the bottom. this was on my 3 wheel harbor freight engine stand.
