need help!! what sized bolts to use when mounting engine on engine stand
this is for a d16y8 or 6gen civic ex. my current engine is still in the engine bay this is a spare that i need the size for.

generally trans bolts are a tad too short. You shold go find some bolts that are
the same but are about 1/2" longer.

I just bought the same bolts as tranny bolts, except much longer. I then used washers to effectively shorten them.
Those bolts were expensive though, like $4 a piece. The guy only charged me for three instead of four though. I thought about mentioning it but for God's sake, $4?

At least you guys FOUND bolts. I had to make a sub-assembly with box sections of steel to make my D16Y8 fit on the @#$% engine stand! Total cash outlay for that was nearly $30!
