Default Timming Problems

Running 6 psi, supercharged Ls Vtec @ 12 deg, boost will only be 4/5 psi. Though while @16 deg boost it will peak 6psi but have detonation in low rpms. I need to know what should the timing be?

10 degrees on 6psi set up is good, what ems are u using? if its the stock ecu and an fmu just set it at 10 degrees, or u can use a chipped ecu and retard timing per pound of boost.

there is a service connecter plug located under right hand side of dash .you need to loop it with a wire then check engine light should blink slow for first diget fast for second.for example one slow two fast = 12.codes are in haynes manual .
