Default Pedal Removal/Assembly

So im pretty stumped. Have everything unscrewed and whatnot. They're just hanging there. Brake pedal is off gas still on. Gas is a bitch to take off if I try. So i'm gonna ask here first before I take it off. How the hell do I get the pedal assembly off? 97 HX automatic if it matters. BTW I'm doing this to install 5-spd Pedals.

He's not. You can still use the auto pedals, you just won't have as big of a gap between the clutch and brake. I think what the first guy meant when he posted the pic of the sawsall, he was saying cut the pedals. Nobody is gonna wanna buy an automatic pedal assembly.

my car was auto when i got it u dont need 2 change the gas pedal its not necassary the brake pedal comes off as 1 and the clutch and brake are together as 1 they bolt up and the space is there for the bolt for the clutch its not that difficult . just gonna **** u off alot . depending on ur tools!

but u do not need 2 change the gas pedal leave it alone because the throttle cable is diffrent anyways and automatic cable is diffrent from a 5 speed! hope this helps!

I'm trying to take off the whole pedal assembly. At first i was like "well.. I can just take off the brake pedal and switch it" But theres this thingy on it thats on a different location.. ermm... I'll try taking a picture tomorrow. SO yea... pretty stumped. I dont want the stupid automatic pedals in there. They're gay . Has anyone here done an Auto to Manual conversion?

You can change just the brake pedal the auto and manual pedals have the same mounting.

I'm not stupid. I've read it over and over. I was looking for individual opinions on how people have taken their pedal assembly off. Because it seems nearly impossible. I've read that thread plenty of times. I'm not asking how to do a Auto to Manual conversion.

But different sensor locations or something. I'll take pics later. I'm bout to PM luserkid.
