Here is the deal I have hid setup in my em1. I went to turn on my headlights and they wouldnt turn on but the foglights still work.. So I took out the hids on one side and put a normal bulb back in and it worked.. So I was thinking the HIDS were shot so I hooked them straight to the battery and it turned on.. So what is the deal.. Someone please help

 

have you checked for power on the harness, maybe you wire burned/shorted somewhere, grounds still good etc

 

it could be the ballasts
