Help! Burnt ballast!
Alright, here's the setup:
TSX Projectors
TSX Ballasts & Bulbs / Ignitors
TheRetroFitSource Low Beam Wire Harness
I mocked everything up to test it out (ground / power to the battery) and hooked in to the female headlight socket. Both bulbs / projectors lit up, but then from the driver's side ballast came a fair amount of smoke and the bulb shut off. The other side still works, but now the driver side is dead. Any ideas? I know it's the ballast, but I'm trying to figure out what happened so when I get a new one that I don't fry it as well.
I had the connectors to the ballasts set as so (ground left, power right) on both sides.
