Is there any concerns boostin a JDM B18C (higher compression)
I have a JDM B18c and im ready to boost it. I know the JDM's have higher compession than the USDM. I just want to boost max at 10psi using the Peakboost kit and its just a weekend car. I know high compression and boost dont mix but is the compression difference enough to worry about
thanks
thanks
Just get a good tune on there, with a very conservative timing map and you should be ok. If you wanted to be extra safe you could go with some sort of injectio, some sort of water mix injection would work. But you could also just lower the compression a little with a thicker headgasket.

I've seen it done, and I did it on mine. It'll be fine as long as it's tuned correctly.
