What happened when there's no transmission oil????
i was down the street and all of a sudden my car starts shaking and it seems like it has no power at all..... so i don't know if i need transmission oil or not. But when i got home i let the car starts and check the dip stick there's none.... does any body had that situation before???? did it happened like that??????
Were you using the dipstick to check the tranny fluid or do you mean you were checking the engine oil level with the dipstick?
When you take the transmission fill bolt off (typically a 14 or 17 mm bolt at the same height as the axle on the passenger side of the transmission), make sure you can see fluid as high as the bolt hole.
But I doubt this issue is lack of oil in the engine or transmission. Good luck. Keep us informed.

It doesn't matter if he told u if it was a manual or auto. IF he was talking about a civic, u should know that civic manual trannies don't have dipsticks.
I dont think that any honda manual tranny has a dipstick, as long as it doesnt leak fluid the level should remain the same....
